Kong Samoeun married Sok Srey Pov, and they have 2 children. They live in Prek Tameak Commune, Ksach Kandal District, Kandal Province. Samoeun runs a business gorwing wax gourd since 1996. Samoeun also raise cow. Samoeun’s wife, Srey Pov is a factory worker, and she also spends time helping in her husband’s farm.

Samoeun learns to grow wax gourd from his parents. At present Samoeun does not hire any worker. Samoeun wishes to enlarge his farm and grow more wax gourd. Samoeun is requesting a loan from Maxima Microfinance Plc. to purchase the water pump machine, and purchase the equipment for growing wax gourd. Using this loan, Samoeun will be able to meet his purchase order.
