Chuon Chamroen married Phan Pholla, and they have 5 children. They live in Chhvang Commune, Ponhea Leu District, Kandal Province. Chamroen is a sculptor, and he runs a business of caving the wood for 20 years.

Chamroen first started the business with few workers, but now he provides full time job for 8 workers. He also plans to prepare the accommodation for his workers at the manufacturing side. Chamroen learns carving the wood from his neighbor, and his skills improve a lot since then.

In order to meet the rising demand of his clients for sculpture from wood, Chamroen is in need of working capital to purchase an automatic machine for caving the wood. Using loan from Maxima Microfinance Plc., Chamroen will be able to purchase the new machine.
