Le projet
Mrs Nila Constante owns Nilas Junkshop together with her spouse. From tailoring clothes, they shifted into furniture and the junkshop business. A friend first initiated the junkshop, but due to inconsistency of managing the business, Mr and Mrs Constante decided to take over the business in San Mateo Rizal. They employ 12 workers, most of which are out of school youth and receive decent daily wages. The owners also provide 3 meals a day for all employees.
They contribute to the community by lending both capital and a sidecar for those who go out in the field to collect scrap and in addition pay them for the collected scrap. The business is growing and this results in increasing their inventory. For example, the couple recently expanded their inventory with cooking oil and thinner bottle supplies. To speed up the logistics of the company, Mr and Mrs Constante desire to acquire an additional truck, which should allow faster growth.
Together with local Partner NPFC Lendahand will support Nila in purchasing the truck by providing a loan, which will be repaid in 12 months.
