Whealthy International Trading is a coffee processing business run by Arnold Melicor with his wife Tomasa in Kiangan, Ifugao Province. The name Whealthy is a combination of the words wealthy and healthy which perfectly describes the business.

Arnold and Tomasa started planting coffee in 2005 in the land which they inherited from Tomasa’s father. At first, they were only planting coffee only to be sold to local markets, but then expanded to coffee processing in 2010 as an additional source of income. Now, they serve as a source of income for the surrounding farming communities. The business also has an outlet in Manila and distributes to pasalubong (souvenir) stores and trade fairs.

They have 3 regular employees who have worked for them for around 5 years. The employees are provided with free lodging and meals aside from compensation.

Arnold will need additional working capital to purchase equipment and coffee beans from the local farmers. The loan will be provided by NPFC and LendAHand.
