Phin Thy married Chhin channom, he lives with his wife and 2 children at Chvang Commune, Ponhea Leu District, Kandal Province of Cambodia. He is ceiling worker and is raising cows, his wife is garment factory worker. Also, they have been growing rice since 2014.

Phin Thy wishes to purchase a plot of farmland to grow more rice and also buy fertilizer and insecticide, gasoline to speed his farm next growing season to generate more output.
