Coming from a marketing background, Ms. Anne Tei Mukunya began Azuri Health with the mission to provide healthy nutritious food alternatives to the market in 2010. The products include nutritious flours, dried fruits, and vegetables that are prepared under natural conditions. Azuri Health is also piloting feeding programs within the Kawangware slum area in conjunction with USAID.
The final goal is being able to produce at such scale that porridge and nutrition packs are affordable enough to everyone in Kenya.
Local partner Umati provides this loan with a maturity of 6 months.
