Le projet

A large number of small communities can be found around Madhya Pradesh. The inhabitants of these villages have not had it easy in recent decades. Immersed in poverty, they try to make the best of it. The construction of a large Sardar Sarovar dam also meant that many families were forced to relocate.

There is a lot of illiteracy and most children do not get much further than primary school. On average there is 1 school per 15-20 villages. Households in this region earn on average around $ 95 a month.

Many families are employed in agriculture and arable farming (such as potatoes, maize, onions), in addition, many women work as seamstresses or they make all children or products that are sold in the larger cities.
