Youthful Kumokmali Meitaya lives in Nturumeti village in Narok county. His young family of four enjoys constant disposable income from livestock, wheat and maize farming. His homestead is a beehive of activities from dawn to dusk necessitating acquisition of high-powered solar home lighting systems in the market.

This transition from Kerosene lit lamps will save him USD 5 per month as he makes monthly payment of USD 30.43 to install 6 bulbs, 12Ah battery Msolar 55+ (lighting and Tv system), torch, phone charger and Radio costing USD 800.

Kuokmali and family look forward to a bright year in all aspects. Sufficient light means increased farm hours that translate to reduced livestock losses to predators. With 24 inch TV and phone charger, villagers are treated to viewing national news as they charge their phones; an added revenue stream to the family
