Kakira Development is a group that broke of from Kakira Growth due to the large numbers that one group could not contain. The group was formed in 2009 and it has 15 members.

Most of the members are employed by Kakira sugar factory and the too have their businesses that they employ others to do for them.

Their need for the loan is to expand their businesses to enable them educate their children as most of the women are widows,
