The project

Tsend-Ayush is a widow mother of two sons. She has been running “Undur eej” or “Old mother” café for 11 years at local market in Darkhan, the second-largest city in Mongolia. In the result of years of her efforts, her café is well known in that market serving many people and currently she has 4 staff. 

With a loan, provided by Lendahand together with local partner VFM, Tsend-Ayush will be able to invest more to her café by reserving meat and flour in larger quantities and hire one more employee. Moreover, as winter comes, she wants to replace the cafe windows by vacuum-insulated windows so it is better equipt to handle the harsh winter colds. The loan will have to be repaid in 24 months.
