The project
Mylene de Mata Ng, a forty (40) year old mother of five (5) children is the owner of Mackenzie Enterprises.
Her husband who grew up in the business of manufacturing textile bags influenced her to start the business which was named after her daughter.They started with only 3 sewing machines in 2006.
Mackenzie Enterprises is manufacturing eco-bags (organically made bag) in lieu of plastic bags used as grocery bags.
Currently, she now have eleven (11) sewing machines with her husband doing the designs employs one (1) male and eight (8) females. The women employed are housewives and breadwinners of the families. She plans to have a bigger place for production area.
Lendahands partner NPFC is helping Mackenzie Enterprises in acquiring additional raw materials to boost the production and support incoming orders by granting a P150,000 working capital loan payable in 12 months.
