The Wallet: Your Digital Money Jar

Every Lendahand account automatically includes a wallet, which is a digital wallet managed by our payment provider. What can you use your wallet for?

To receive repayments from your investments.
To deposit money so you can pay faster when investing manually.
To deposit money for Auto-Invest to automatically invest in projects that match your preferences.

Make the most out of your wallet

Repayments

What to do with repayments? That’s entirely up to you! You can either withdraw them to your bank account or leave them in your wallet. By keeping them in your wallet, your funds are ready for your next investment or to let Auto-Invest get to work.

How to set your repayment preferences:
Go to your account settings, check either ‘Pay back’ or ‘Retain’, and click ‘Save’ at the bottom of the page.

Adding funds to your wallet

Keeping funds in your wallet enables faster manual investments and lets Auto-Invest invest for you automatically.

How to add funds to your wallet:

Make sure your wallet is set on ‘Retain’ so that repayments and deposits are kept on your wallet.

Step 1: Go to ‘Transactions’ in your account to see your current wallet balance. Click ‘Deposit money’ below the wallet balance and choose the amount you’d like to deposit.

Step 2: Select your preferred payment method and follow the steps to complete your payment.

Step 3: Once the money is in your wallet, you can either invest manually or let Auto-Invest do the work for you!

How Auto-Invest works:

Simply activate Auto-Invest and select your preferences. Ensure there is money on your wallet and Auto-Invest takes care of the rest.

Auto-Invest can invest at the following times:

60 minutes after activating Auto-Invest and as long as there is money in your wallet.
15 minutes after a deposit is credited to your wallet.
2 hours after a repayment is credited to your wallet (if you’ve selected ‘Retain’).
As soon as a new project appears on the website and as long as there is money in your wallet.

How to activate Auto-Invest:

Step 1: Log in to your Lendahand account and click ‘Auto-Invest: off’ in the top right corner. This will take you to the page where you can activate Auto-Invest and set your preferences.

Step 2: Set your project preferences, such as minimum investment amount per project and minimum desired interest rate.

Keep in mind: The stricter your preferences, the fewer matching projects Auto-Invest will find each month.

Once a match is found, Auto-Invest will automatically invest using your wallet. You’ll always receive a confirmation by email and can follow all investments in your account dashboard.

You can change your preferences at any time, and pause Auto-Invest whenever you like. Manual investing remains available at all times, even if Auto-Invest is active.
