Oxus 12
Farmer Abdurahmonov from Tajikistan was able to grow his agricultural business with a loan from microfinance institution Oxus. By investing in seeds, fertilizer and later also machinery, he increased his yields and built a more stable income for his family. Will you invest in the sustainable lending programmes of Oxus?

The project
Based in the Khorasan region, Abdurahmonov wanted to gradually expand his farm. With an initial loan of 34,000 somoni (around 3,000 US dollars), he invested in essential agricultural inputs, resulting in a higher harvest. That growth made the next step possible. A second loan of 50,000 somoni (approximately 4,500 US dollars) allowed him to purchase modern farming equipment, further scaling up his production. His farm is now a sustainable source of income.
Oxus focuses on entrepreneurs in rural areas, where access to traditional financing is limited. With flexible loans and fast disbursement, its financing matches the realities of local small and medium-sized businesses and creates room to invest when it matters most.
With your investment in Oxus, entrepreneurs like Abdurahmonov gain access to financing. They strengthen their businesses and incomes while contributing to economic development in their region. The loan to Oxus is used for sustainable lending programmes and to finance female entrepreneurs. In this way, your investment supports lasting impact in Tajikistan. Will you join this project?
