The project

Limited access to finance remains a major barrier for women entrepreneurs in Kyrgyzstan. According to World Bank data, only 18.2% of women-led small and medium-sized businesses have access to a loan. As a result, many women lack the financial means to start or grow a business and build a stable source of income.

Microfinance institution Amanat Credit works to reduce this barrier by providing accessible loans to women, including in rural areas where financial services are often scarce. These loans allow entrepreneurs to invest in their businesses and strengthen their economic position.

What sets Amanat apart is that inclusive financing is reflected not only in its clients but also within the organization itself. More than half of its clients are women, and the institution is led by a female CEO. This makes women’s entrepreneurship more visible and shows that leadership and business growth are within reach.

With your investment, you support women entrepreneurs in Kyrgyzstan as they build and grow their businesses while contributing to greater economic independence.
