Avanza Sólido 16
With your investment, female entrepreneurs in Mexico gain access to financing. Through group loans from Avanza Sólido, women like Albertina can expand their businesses and take an important step toward financial independence.

The project
Albertina has her feet firmly in the clay. In her shop, she sells handmade ceramics. With a group loan from microfinance institution Avanza Sólido, she was able to purchase new tools and protective packaging materials for her creations.
She also shares her knowledge and craftsmanship with other women. In her workshop, they learn how to turn ceramics into a source of income. In this way, the impact of one loan extends far beyond Albertina: it creates more jobs, higher incomes, and greater economic independence for women in her community.
For many women micro-entrepreneurs, a group loan is the first step toward financial independence. It helps them build a credit history, gain access to financing, and develop a savings habit. This lays the foundation for qualifying for an individual loan in the future and continuing to grow their businesses.
Avanza Sólido operates mainly in southern Mexico, particularly in the state of Chiapas. Many families in this region have low incomes, and access to basic services such as healthcare and housing is limited. With your investment, more women in this region have the opportunity to increase their income and become more financially independent.

Avanza Solido
Impact
Mexico is a country marked by significant economic inequality, with wide disparities in income, access to services, and economic opportunity. These gaps are especially visible in rural areas, where communities often face greater barriers to development and financial inclusion.
Avanza Sólido addresses these issues by providing microloans and training to small entrepreneurs who are excluded from traditional banking services. By offering financial education and business management training, they help entrepreneurs stabilize their incomes and reduce poverty. Focusing on vulnerable groups, including women, youth, and indigenous communities, Avanza Sólido directly contributes to improving living standards and strengthening the economic resilience of these populations in Mexico.
