Avanza Sólido 17
Teaching plays an important role in Julio’s life. Thanks to a loan from Avanza Sólido, he was able to set up an educational centre in Mexico for students who are falling behind at school.

The project
Julio works as a teacher in Mexico and wants to support students who struggle to keep up at school. He therefore started a tutoring centre where they receive extra guidance and personal attention.
With a loan from microfinance institution Avanza Sólido, Julio was able to put his plans into action. Students receive support in subjects where they are falling behind and work towards improving their academic results. He also focuses on developing their social and communication skills.
Through his educational centre, Julio has created a place where students can develop both academically and personally.
Avanza Sólido is mainly active in southern Mexico, particularly in Chiapas. Many families in this region have a low income and limited access to basic services. With your investment, entrepreneurs like Julio can access financing to start their business and create opportunities for their communities.

Avanza Solido
Impact
Mexico is a country marked by significant economic inequality, with wide disparities in income, access to services, and economic opportunity. These gaps are especially visible in rural areas, where communities often face greater barriers to development and financial inclusion.
Avanza Sólido addresses these issues by providing microloans and training to small entrepreneurs who are excluded from traditional banking services. By offering financial education and business management training, they help entrepreneurs stabilize their incomes and reduce poverty. Focusing on vulnerable groups, including women, youth, and indigenous communities, Avanza Sólido directly contributes to improving living standards and strengthening the economic resilience of these populations in Mexico.
