OXUS KG 4
In rural Kyrgyzstan, many families rely on multiple activities to earn a living. Imanbek and his wife are no exception. With a loan from OXUS KG, they were able to strengthen and diversify their sources of income.

The project
In rural Kyrgyzstan, many families combine different activities to make a living. Imanbek and his wife also rely on multiple sources of income. He grows raspberries, raises livestock and works as a driver. His wife works from home as a seamstress.
To expand his farming activities, Imanbek took out a loan from OXUS Kyrgyzstan, a microfinance institution that supports entrepreneurs with limited access to traditional banking services.
With the loan, he bought a car. He uses it to transport his raspberries, reach customers more easily and work as a driver. The investment therefore supports several parts of his business. This allows Imanbek and his wife to get more out of their activities and increase their combined household income.
OXUS Kyrgyzstan is a microfinance institution that has supported entrepreneurs and households with limited access to traditional banking services for more than twenty years. The organisation focuses particularly on small-scale farmers and women entrepreneurs.
Thanks in part to your investment, 120 entrepreneurs like Imanbek will have the opportunity to access financing.
