Bailyk 29
In rural Kyrgyzstan, access to financing is limited. Bailyk Finance enables people like Farida to invest in their future. With a small loan, she bought a cow, creating a more stable income and new opportunities for her family. Will you invest in a more stable future for Farida and others?

The project
Farida lives in a village in rural Kyrgyzstan. With the means she had, it was difficult to support her family. Thanks to a loan from Bailyk Finance, she was able to buy a cow. The milk the cow produces now provides extra income, allowing Farida to cover daily expenses and look ahead. Her goal is to save enough to give her children better opportunities, perhaps even the chance to study abroad.
Farida’s story is not unique. In Kyrgyzstan, many rural families depend on small-scale farming or livestock farming. Yet outside the cities, access to financial services is often limited. That is why institutions like Bailyk Finance play an important role. Through microloans, they give people in remote areas the opportunity to invest in their business, their family and their future.
As much as 59% of Bailyk’s loans go to women entrepreneurs, enabling them to start or expand their businesses and strengthen their economic position. By investing in Bailyk, you create economic opportunities for women across Kyrgyzstan.
