Bailyk 30
In Kyrgyzstan, many farming families do not have access to affordable credit. Bailyk provides that access, making it possible to invest in seeds, animals, or materials. Your investment contributes to accessible financing for entrepreneurs in rural Kyrgyzstan.

The project
In rural areas of Kyrgyzstan, access to financial services is limited. Banks are often not present. And when they are, they rarely serve small farmers or entrepreneurs. Bailyk Finance was founded in 2011 to fill that gap.
The organization provides affordable loans in villages and small towns. 94% of its offices are located outside urban centers. This allows Bailyk to reach entrepreneurs in regions where other providers are barely active.
Bailyk’s clients are mainly active in agriculture, livestock farming, or small-scale trade. They use loans for practical purchases, such as seeds, animals, or storage space for harvests and animal feed.
Bailyk deliberately focuses on groups that are often overlooked by traditional banks. More than half of its clients are women. Its financial products are simple and tailored to local needs.

Impact
Bailyk Finance is a women-led microfinance institution dedicated to strengthening the position of women in Kyrgyzstan. By providing financial literacy training, entrepreneurial support, and working capital, Bailyk helps female entrepreneurs, who make up 59% of its clients, grow their businesses, support their families, and drive economic stability.
In a country where 32% of the population (about 2 million people) lives on less than €1.60 per day, access to finance is a powerful tool against poverty. It fosters entrepreneurship, creates jobs, reduces emigration, and improves living conditions.
With 51 branches across Kyrgyzstan, Bailyk also serves low-income individuals without access to traditional banks, ensuring economic opportunities reach even the most remote areas.
