Bailyk 32
This year, we visited entrepreneurs who have taken out loans with Bailyk Finance in Kyrgyzstan, including Narkul. She is a farmer who grows raspberries and corn and raises livestock. With loans from Bailyk Finance, she invests in her business. Your investment helps make this financing possible.

The project
Narkul is a farmer in Kyrgyzstan. On her farm, she raises livestock and grows raspberries and corn. She has taken out several loans from Bailyk Finance to invest in her business, including buying animal feed and growing crops to feed her livestock.
During the peak season, she hires extra workers. Access to financing helps her make her business more resilient to seasonal fluctuations and unexpected setbacks.
Bailyk provides microloans to entrepreneurs across Kyrgyzstan, particularly in rural areas where access to financing is limited. Small-scale farmers often struggle to obtain loans from traditional banks. This can be especially difficult for women, who may have less access to land and other assets that can be used as collateral.
Bailyk has more than 50 branches in cities and rural areas, allowing it to reach entrepreneurs in remote communities. Women make up 59% of its clients. In addition to loans, Bailyk offers training in agriculture, financial management, financial literacy and climate-smart entrepreneurship.
Will you invest in rural entrepreneurs like Narkul and contribute to a better future for farming families in Kyrgyzstan?
